Meet Dr. Laura Buford, MD, FAAD
Dr. Laura Buford is a board-certified dermatologist advanced training in medical, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology.
She has deep roots in the Oklahoma medical community — a third-generation graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, following both her father and grandfather into the field of medicine.
Born in Texas and raised in Amarillo, Dr. Buford grew up watching her father, a urologist, care for patients with compassion and precision. Her grandfather served as one of the only physicians in the Oklahoma panhandle for over 40 years — a true pioneer in rural medicine.
After advanced medical training in Chicago and years of practicing dermatology in Austin, Dr. Buford has returned to Oklahoma City to launch UnblemishMD — blending modern, science-backed dermatology with an inviting, family-first philosophy of care.
She specializes in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, treating patients of all ages with a focus on acne, eczema, skin cancer screenings, scar revision, and cosmetic procedures like Botox and microneedling.
Dr. Buford treats adults and children alike, and is especially passionate about scar management, wound care, and natural aesthetic results.
