What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first appointment is focused on understanding your concerns and creating a personalized care plan. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Check-In
Arrive 10–15 minutes early and bring your ID, insurance card, and medication list.
2. Consultation
Dr. Buford will discuss your concerns, perform a full or focused skin exam, and explain your options clearly.
3. Diagnosis & Next Steps
You’ll receive your treatment plan before leaving.
We take the time to listen, educate, and ensure you understand your treatment options every step of the way.
Insurance & Payment Options
UnblemishMD accepts most major insurance plans. For patients without insurance, we offer transparent self-pay pricing. Please contact our office prior to your visit to confirm coverage and eligibility.
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA.
Forms & Records
To save time at your appointment, new patient forms can be completed online before your visit. If you’ve had prior dermatology care or biopsies, please bring copies of any relevant medical records or pathology reports.
Follow-Up Care
Patients receive clear instructions for follow-up visits or at-home care. For non-urgent questions, you can reach us through our secure patient portal or by phone during business hours.
